Spring registration is available from November 15th to January 25th at 11:59PM.
NO LATE REGISTRATIONS.

Ages 7/8, 9/10, and 11/12 have both A and AA divisions. The AA division is the more competitive division of the two.

MANDATORY COACHES MEETINGS

  • Saturday, January 31st @10:00AM
  • Wednesday, February 4th @ 6:30PM

    The meetings are NOT age specific.  Please attend the one that works better for you.

Both meetings will be at the Farmers Branch Recreation Center in the Oak Room.

Each team must send a representative! This can be the coach, assistant coach, team manager, or a parent.  
Head coaches are responsible for the info that's covered at the meetings

COACHES: BLACK-OUTS

Each team has up to 18 black-outs for the season. A "black-out" is anytime you request to play or not play a certain time or day. 

  • 5/6 & below will play Thursday-Sunday. Monday-Wednesday are not typical game days but can be game days for rainout/make-up games. Mon - Thur games will only be in the 6PM slot.  
  • 7/8 & above can play 7 days a week.  We will heavy load Thursday, Friday, Saturday, before using any other day of the week. Early AND late slot.  Blackouts control the time slots.

UNIFORM & ADDITIONAL FEES

Uniforms

CFBBA does not provide uniforms. Coaches are responsible for ordering them, this will be an additional cost to the players.

Typically, the coach orders hats and jerseys. Parents are responsible for belt, pants, and socks unless the coach orders a complete uniform. 

Practice Fees & Field Rentals

CFBBA provides a limited number of free practice fields at the start of the season that coaches can sign up for.

If the coach chooses to practice at a different location there may be additional fees for field rentals. 

We ask teams to try to keep uniform costs and field rentals affordable to player families.  

EQUIPMENT INFO: 

CFBBA supplies the above equipment to all teams, at no charge.

Baseballs:
2 dozen baseballs.  We currently use McGregor 87OLX baseballs or McGregor 56 T-Balls. Both are easily available at many sporting goods stores or on Amazon if you need additional balls.

Catcher’s gear: upon request, a Google Form will be emailed to you along with the practice links and blackout form.  Catchers gear sizing info:

  • Junior is designed for ages 5 to 8 this is the smallest gear we carry.
  •  Youth is designed for ages 8 to 12
  • Prep is designed for ages 12 to 15

Catcher’s gear is required for age groups 5/6 modified coach pitch and up.

Batting Tees: upon request and for ages that use batting tees for game play.  Batting tees will also be listed on the Google Form.

Equipment pickup details:

Carrollton – McInnish concession stand:

  • Saturday 2/14 – 10AM-2PM
  •  Sunday 2/15 – 10AM-2PM

Farmers Branch – in the small parking lot by OG1 & OG2:

  • Saturday 2/21 – 10AM-2PM
  • Sunday 2/22 – 10AM-2PM
  • Saturday 2/28 – 10AM-2PM

Equipment will be made available to all teams during equipment pass out dates, this will be the only time that they are available to pick up. Equipment is stored off site of the game fields.
