2025 FALL SEASON TIMELINE

July 28	Waitlist opens. The waitlist does not guarantee placement on a team.

MANDATORY COACHES MEETINGS

WED 8/6/25 @ 6:30PM, Any age division
SAT. 8/9/25 @ 11AM, Any age division
We typically have our coaches meetings on Wednesday's and Thursday's. However, this season we are moving them to Wednesday & Saturday. These changes were made to help avoid schedule conflicts with back to school events. The meetings are NOT age specific. Please attend the one that works better for you.

Both meetings will be at the Farmers Branch Recreation Center

Each team must send a representative! This can be the coach, assistant coach, team manager, or a parent. Head coaches are responsible for the info that's covered at the meetings.

UNIFORM & ADDITIONAL FEES

Uniforms

CFBBA does not provide uniforms. Coaches are responsible for ordering them, this will be an additional cost to the players.

Typically, the coach orders hats and jerseys. Parents are responsible for belt, pants, and socks unless the coach orders a complete uniform.

Practice Fees & Field Rentals

CFBBA provides a limited number of free practice fields at the start of the season that coaches can sign up for.

If the coach chooses to practice at a different location there may be additional fees for field rentals.

We ask teams to try to keep uniform costs and field rentals affordable to player families.

COACH/VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION & BACKGROUND CHECK

Registration is available from June 1, 2025 to July 27, 2025 at 11:59PM.

COACHES: BLACK-OUTS

Each team has up to 18 black-outs for the season. A "black-out" is anytime you request to play or not play a certain time or day. Effective Fall 2025

5/6 & below will play Thursday-Sunday. Monday-Wednesday are not typical game days but can be game days for rainout/make-up games
7/8 & above can play 7 days a week. We will heavy load Thursday, Friday, Saturday, before using any other day of the week. Effective Fall 2025

2025 Fall Season

Fall registration is available from June 1, 2025 to July 27, 2025 at 11:59PM. If approved from the waitlist, a $25 late fee will be added.

7/8 & above can play 7 days a week. We will heavy load Thursday, Friday, Saturday, before using any other day of the week. Effective Fall 2025

9/10 & above can play 7 days a week. We will try to schedule Thursday-Sunday but could schedule games Monday and Tuesday. Wednesdays are not typically games days but can be game days for rainout/make-up games

CFBBA follows USSSA's age guidelines for division age cutoffs. USSSA age determination date for FALL 2024/SPRING 2025 is MAY 1, 2026. For the fall season, players play up to the age they will be the following spring.

Determine your child’s age as of May 1. This is the league age for baseball that should be used to determine what age division to play in. The league age determines what division a player is eligible to register in.

Example – If the league age of a player is 11 on May 1st, then the player is eligible to register in 11/12U.
